I found this interesting. Back in the late 70s I saw a couple 750cc Honda 4cyl made V8s at the Lakes, but this would be scary!

    Hayabusa V8.:jawdrop:

lol yeh nice and heavy.. might as well be a honda goldwing

remember a guy who used to ride a goldwing.. he'd press a button and the rear stand would come down for him- guy was a total douchebag though

got a hurricane 1000 out in the garage, been sitting there under a tarp for awhile.. I might rebuild her someday- who knows

Supermotos are the way forward mate :D Go get a test ride some!

Although, my fuel pump died yesterday; a known issue on KTM 950s. Mine has lasted 3,000 miles over the average life expectancy (bike is now at 14k). I've ordered an alternative pump that won't suffer the same problem again.

Pushing a bike a mile home is surprisingly hard work

A triumph sprint ST 995i, nice and big, fast, and has an alarm, which i set off from sitting on it the other day haha.

Finished uni now, and looking for a job, then i will begin my own hunt for a motobike that i dont look stupid on! Supermoto it probably will be :D

What? Noo! Now who will make awesome looking bikes with the exhaust hanging off the bottom?

Harley Davidson are idiots. The only good thing coming out of their factory and they're shutting it down. :(

wst, good vid. That cheered me up a bit.

    ok ok, predictable ;)

But seriously it's a shame that HD have ****-canned Buell, but at the same time - making great looking bikes (except the Useless Ulysse) is only half of the task at hand - they have to be machines that'll make people want to part with their cash :sigh: I think that more often that not, it went like this -

    "Woah that Buell looks fantastic"
"We can do you a great deal, sir!"
"No thanks mate, I'm just lookin'"

So, is anyone mad enough to be still riding at this time of year? Wheel spin, cold tyres, damp roads, blinding low sun and greasy leaves makes for a lot of "fun" at the moment ;) It's absolutely mental at times; applying a tiny amount of throttle and feeling the rear wheel finding its own line :eeek: :D Hand guards mean that I'm still just about able to wear summer gloves - no winter mitts for me!

Did anyone go to the bike show at the NEC? I went yesterday and enjoyed it. Still plenty to see despite Honda and a few others not in attendance.

Due to lack of fund to get a bike I don't have the pleasure of riding in the winter I just walk. If I did have a bike I'd definitely be using it. Ah well maybe next year.

I'd have loved to go to the show but I've had to content myself with just reading about it. If you got any decent pictures there how about throwing them up? :naughty:

I'm still riding, and will continue to do so until it gets icy, then I don't risk it any further.

I went to the NEC bike show a week ago, it was good, loads to look at, got a few pics, but they were taken on my phone so they are a bit rubbish (its like a 1.5mp camera...), shame about Honda not being there, I wanted to see the new VFR...

Yup, heated handgrips Cheesecake. I've managed to avoid any upsets so far but then I'm still very cautious after my accident in the summer.

Yep, the CX comes out whatever the weather. My only real issue with winter riding is being constantly dazzled by car headlights.
