OK, im British, and i just wanted to know, what is Mountain Dew? eg what flavour? i see it everywhere and its starting to bug me!

So they sell it in the UK, but not Korea. Totally unfair Dunno why Brawls Guana (SP?) and MD don't have any plans whatsoever to bring their drinks here, pretty sure there is a market for it, probably better than the US considering the UK is more compact.
What lol? They have it in Korea but not here..and i dont know man, i emailed pepsico and they e-mailed back saying there are no future plans to bring the drink to the UK. we had it but the caffiene content was too high (im talking about MD by the way lol) Ice
That stuff is horrible. Original flavor is the way to go. Mountain Dew is a lemon-lime citrus soda. From what I have heard, the UK drink was different than the US drink (because of ingredient laws). All I can tell you is the US stuff is amazing. Best drink in the world. Bawls is a super-caffeinated beverage that people drink specifically because it has so much caffeine. It's kinda citrusy too like Mountain Dew, but tastes closer to Sierra Mist or Sprite.
Bawls is more of a "smoothly carbonated" drink too. Hard to explain, but the fizz seems "smaller". Keep in mind that neither drink (in typical serving size, 12oz MD, 10oz Bawls) has as much caffeine as a cup of coffee, in fact MD doesn't even come close. However the Guarana that provides the caffeine in bawls is especially potent, and definately affects me much more than any other caffeine. MD is definately a sweet lemon-lime-ish drink. Bawls is more along the lines of a cherry drink, almost a not-quite Shirley Temple. Bawls > all, but it's not cheap, especially once you figure in shipping. I almost got a hernia picking up the box because I wasn't expecting nearly that much weight... of course it is two dozen fairly thick glass bottles all full of soda.
I really can't see why you guys need so much caffeine to say awake when gaming. I can game all-night sessions once in a while without any caffeine. To me, all MD and bawls are are just caffeine loaded drinks that don't quench your thirst or even taste the best out of all the other soft drinks.
Too low, not too high. The severe lack of caffeine (about 25% of the US levels IIRC) was enough to mean that not enough people bought it in the UK, so Pepsi canned it (hrhr) And it's sheer bottled awesome. And to the OP, exactly how do you "see it everywhere"?
ooh, drank lots of that when i was over there, the bl00 foam is enough to make it the best drink ever, even if code red pwns it taste wise imo
Mister_tad, please don't tell me you're referring to Pepsi Blue? List of nasty flavours that Mountain Dew has come in: Pitch Black, Pitch Black II, Baja Blast, AMP. Tasty flavours: Mountain Dew, Code Red, the orange one (can't think of the name of it), MDX. Whoever said it tastes like lemonade....what are you smoking because I want some. Mountain dew is like a sweet, lemony-lime drink. Plenty of imitations on the market but none quite as good. Mello Yellow is decent though... god, I can't go a day without at least one serving of Mountain Dew. I bet when I die, if they use my blood for a transfusion, that person is gonna get a caffeine buzz from hell.
