    Hi y'all !

Got a new waterblock comin up ! I've even finally made pics, just need to bring the photofilm to to the shop ... anywayz this new sucka weighs in at 1 Kg ! Anyone know how much weight the mounting holes can carry, without me having to connect to the case as a further support ?

    Cheers

The heaviest that I know of is the swiftech at 789 grammes. 1kg is not much more, but what is this block that is so heavy????

Hating shims is not irrational Haddy. You might not realise it, but most of the problems in the UK over the last 30years have been caused by those insiduous little pieces of copper :cries: :cries:

Haddy, read my post again, a sensible answer was hardly in order.

Seriously though I had the first ones that you could get in the UK which are copper and if you stick it on glass is bent to ****. It definately is worth getting a desent non conductive one for a few extra bucks.
