Planning Mounting holes on HDDs....

    Are the locations of the side mounting holes on 3.5" hard drives a standard? Or in other words, do all newer 3.5" HDDs have the side mounting holes in the same location?

    I'm planning a case but need to know this for the HDD bracket things.

    You might be thinking, look at your own HDDs, but I can't look at mine as they are in a location in my case I can't get at without disassembling the whole thing which I only wanna do when I'm gonna transfer all my components to this other case.

    Here's a pic to explain more of what I mean.

    I sure hope they are in standard locations or else I will have to redesign the bracket which would mean not have 4 fans on the rad as the clearances between the HDDs and motherboard and fans are very very close.

    If someone could help that'd be great. And if they are in standardized locations could you help me out with the dimensions of them?

    yes, mounting hole on hdd are standart. but the 3.5" and the 2.5" are not the same;)

    so all 3.5" hdds have the hole in the same location....

    now where can i get those exact locations?
