Electronics Mounting ICs

    Any one know how to attach TQFP or MLF packaged ICs to a PCB. I can make the PCB fine enough but I have no idea how to mount the IC and it only comes in these packages

    Go to a good electronics store or website. They sell sockets for stuff like that...

    Can only find DIP and PLCC sockets no TQFP or MLF sockets

    I bow down to your googling skills. THey are bloody expencive and second one is an x-MLF socket not an MLF -x socket

    Yea, I noticed they were kinda expensive, but for the few minutes I spent searching what can ya ask for? :D

    Decided that it would be cheaper to change IC and find one that is PLCC
