i need to mount my vfd behind my drivebay.. but my drivebay is pretty damn thick! So i cant screw it onto the drivebay because the screw wont reach far enough to stick through the vfd.. unfortunately, they dont have long screws in the size.. well at least i couldnt find any... if anyone knows where i can get 4-40 x 2 inches let me know! (tried osh, home depot.. no luck ) So if you can think of any other way, let me know! Try to keep them simple please.. i suck when it comes to cutting .. (like the way macroman used an existing drivebay to mount his..i dont think i can do something like that...) And the drivebay is CLEAR.. (clear case..) so using hot glue would make it look sick! help pleez... :T
if the drive bay is clear couldnt you just put the vfd behind it and then use the screws from the cdrom supports and maybe use brackets going backwards from the vfd instead of the other way round. sorry im **** at explaining my ideas. if you dont understand just say and ill try again
