great 2 hear as a man u supporter, bring on sunday oops forgot the link http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/chelsea/7003912.stm
WOW! I never thought i'd see the day, he's always making a big bruh ha about how he'll always stick by there side despite abromovich constantly nagging him. Shows how much his word is worth! But yeah, great news for us united fans
It sounds like he was about to walk, and to save face, Chelsea sat down with him and came up with the "mutual consent" line. Not surprising though, he's had a few run-ins with Abramovitch, especially with regards to Shevchenko. But the whole league's been a little strange so far this season. Who could have guessed that Man City would be doing so well?
me i said at the start of the season they would do well, after seeing some of the players they had bought. i can see what you mean though, but its only a few games in. i wonder if the new manager Avram Grant will be such a big-headed twunt. hmmm and as a 'boro' fan, im happy that we had the biggest win over chelsea while mourinho was there i think it was anyway haha.
Thing is, as a Man U fan also I'm happy. But then again it's a really sorry state of affairs. The guy is obviously a brilliant manager. Chelsea's start to the season has been just as bad as Man U's, with the exception of the champions league games, but nobody was calling for Fergie's head. It's pretty dumb of Chelsea to either tell him to leave or make him want to quit, or both. Quite sad, really. Also he was a real character who did much to liven up the world of football. All that said, bring on Sunday! I just hope Chelsea don't use this to actually be so pissed off that they play better...
There'll soon be a new after-shave on the market, to celebrate José's time/success with Chelsea. It's going to be called "The Special One". And the big name behind it? [Off] You Go Boss
Well, he's obviously not worried about it...but then, neither would I. He's reputedly due a £25m payout because he still had 3 years to run on his contract. It's a shame to see him go - he pulled Chelsea up from the pit where it was wallowing, and won serious amounts of silverware. The real problem, as far as Abramovitch was concerned, was the lack of any European silverware. Chances are he'll go and manage a team in Europe; he's also already been linked with becoming Portugal's manager.
If he goes to Barca or something, chances are terry, fat frank, drogba and carvallho will follow probs Essien as well. AND all the plastic fans lol. Loving the Chelsea meltdown. It's only a matter of time before Abramovich gets bored and leaves the club in the poo. stick your blue flag up your arse
