Right so I picked up a mouse from the street only to find out it was a perfectly working Logitech MX 620. However I don't have the reciever to it, so would it be possible to convert it to Bluetooth, wired, or even use a another reciever instead? (Logitech don't sell the reciever separately)
lol.. so you found a computer mouse in the street? oo..kay lol. Converting to bluetooth or even wired would be very hard (if even possible) and not worth the effort. You best bet would be to contact Logitech for a replacement reciever or have a look on fleabay.
I would call it a lost cause. I should think/hope that wireless mice are 'keyed' to their own receiver so that each mouse only controls the PC it's connected to. Therefore even buying a new/second hand/ebay MX620 wouldn't help. As for creating a wired/bluetooth mouse from it - probably close to impossible and definitely too expensive to be worth while. Unusual to find a mouse in the street though, maybe it's feral or it fell from a 'mouse tree'?
