So Malf, who should start the BitCA apartment? I think we could buy out an entire building, and what geek wouldn't want a hundred others in the same building? You'd never hear complaints about the printer not being found again!

So... think the consumer's revolution will take place this coming year? I know it's my resolution now. High-def still doesn't impress me much, but then again I use a computer LCD rather than a TV-type one so I have decent res to start with, and it scales it up pretty well. I'm fairly certain that within three months of HD media being available, HDCP will be cracked, and that the only reason they're tenatively keeping recording limited to ninety minutes is that so you won't be subjected to the horrors of crap programming after it first airs.

I couldn't believe it but as far as SKY+ goes you can end up pretty fubar'd.

A friend of mine subscribed for 2 months and realising he had over 36 hours of films decidied to unsubscribe whilst he watched what he thought were recorded films..... However, you need an active Sky+ subscription to watch these films....

    Ouch!

    To implement the

"Digital video recorders with analogue tuners or inputs would only be allowed to record "copy-prohibited" shows for 90 minutes. After that, the digital recording must be "destroyed or otherwise rendered unusable.""

part they should put a explosive on the media and a clock and a small speaker that would say:

"your tape\dvd\etc... will auto destruct in 90 minutes and 1 second" LOL

O :wallbash: my :wallbash: GOD!!!! :wallbash: This :wallbash: is :wallbash: f.... :wallbash: ridiculous :wallbash: !!!!!
just put a f..... probe and a sensor in our skulls and make us pay for every thing we do. Some day some one is going to copyright something stupid like the colour red or air or silicon :naughty: or the word "****" er..... sorry.

Another thing does any one remember at what price did valve sell HL2 on the site via a download and on the stores on a dvd? Oooohh i remember, AT THE SAME BLODDY PRICE!!!! we were f.... robbed!

well it's like the 16th century again except this time the persons in charge stick to the shadows never moving openly. My suggestion is to do what bit-tech does best and Mod the govenment :dremel:
