Makes me wonder why theres a core disabling feature. Did you guys try it to see if MSI renamed it that when is really a core unlocking feature? When's 890FX (and 900SB?) coming out?

    From the review:
Finally, don't be confused by the Core Control menu - it's not there to unlock the extra cores of a Phenom II X3 CPU, as MSI does not and will not feature this option. Instead, this menu lets you disable CPU cores. This is only of use if you’re trying to break CPU frequency records by only running one core (and thus lowering the thermal output and power draw of your CPU), so it’s very strange to see the option in a modest micro-ATX motherboard’s BIOS.

A board like this might well make it into my next work/main computer. The performance of the 965 BE is easily enough for me, no need to go i7, and the 890/850 combination has all the features I'll ever need. Too bad this apparently isn't the mATX 890GX-board worth getting.
