Wow, 5 heat pipes, not even my CPU has that luxury! That is impressive! Can't be far off, pre-order open around the rest of Europe as far as I can tell. I'd give it a month at a guess! I'd be tempted to pull the gun if this card could hit 1GHz on the core.
why does it always have to be about color??? lolz...$370 here in the states on newegg...that is a sweet looking card...
WANT! (even though I have no real need for it), what an awesome looking card, some cooler as the gtx 580 lightening by the looks of it
It just looks so nice. And it has the word MILITARY in it which means it must be good. Or does it? When will this be available? I was about to hit the button but now I want to wait
None of that monopoly money stuff. I found dave99, that after using military components in my system, I've been better at war games and've been looking more and more like this:
I have ordered it already, will be ready to dispatch 21/4! I found out about it just one day before placing my order for a new build and changed from EVGA 570 SC to the MSI. The price was 319€ (now has gone up to 325€), while Twin Fozr II/OC is at 297€ and the simple on at 285€.
The only issue I have with those Twin Frozr's is that the shroud is on the wrong way round. The shoud is open and exposes the heat pipes next to mobo while it is closed on the other side retaining the heat ...between it and the mobo. The closed side of the shroud should be next to the mobo while the pipes are exposed into the case(if at all ...though heat pipes do look cool if exposed.)
I don't have a twin frozr so I can only imagine that : if the cooler cover of vga had an outlet at the other side, the exhausted hot air from graphics card would directly flow into CPU cooler. Maybe MSI analysed that and decided to let the hot air flow through the main board and eventually hit the relatively cool chasis surface at bottom then rise again and exhausted from chasis fan
