Aye, still on the Q6600. I'm a discharged bankruptee so no finance for me. I will be blowing my Xmas bonus on an i5 system tho. Hopefully I'll be buying another 6950 too which I really really hope I can unlock aswell.

It depends on the fan profile really and how hard you are pushing it. My 6950 is noticeable at >50% and Chinook like at >70%. That being said my case is **** and as no sound deadening. When gaming I've not had the fans above 60%
