    The system is as follows.

    P7N-SLi (Nvidia 750i chipset)
    Q6600 G0 (I had this at 3.8 at 1.45v on a P45)
    2x 2GB OCZ platinum PC6400 Ram
    700 Wat FSP PSU

    Water cooled.
Temps are frosty, no problem there.

The problem is Bios Overclocking seems to fail.
    Tried a different bios.
    But.
Any Change from stock "cell" menu seems to cause a lock up.
No Idea why, but it's a cheap 2nd hand board so that might be why it cost £25 last year.

I can overclock in the Nvidia control panel, but that ramps up the FSB on CPU and RAM.
    from 266 (1066 quad pumped) to 300 (1200).
that put the RAM at 900 and from experience I know it wont go much faster.

So if I cant use the Bios
Whats a good tool to OC the CPU fsb and not the RAM?
    Any ideas.

the best options are New board/ new ram, but cant afford either for a system I'm ultimatley going to sell.

    Thanks.

NVIDIA speciality OCZ RAM? Apparantly it helps overclock, and maybe a northbridge cooler and 1066MHz RAM
