News MSI to bundle games with FX cards

Digitimes is reporting that MSI are to release an Nbox series of products in their GeForceFX range.

The cards will come with Command and Conquer : Generals, Unreal II : The Awakening and Battlefield 1942, along with an optical mouse.

It remains to be seen how on earth they are going to ship these things : as you will see in our imminent MSI 5900 review, their packaging really can't get much bigger. I can hear the rainforests crying from here.

 

That's insane - who the hell goes out to buy a gfx card specifically to be trollied down with crap and extra expense. What's the point? It kills the VFM of the product as 99% of people will go for a cheaper model because (im not a betting man but id put money on it) nearly all hardcore gamers (lets face it - you're not buying a 5900 ultra todo Word with) have uber hardware anyway so dont need another optical mouse and those games have been out months which people have already played.

Well if they bundle HalfLife2 and doom3 then i would have buyed one last week
