I am new to overclocking GPU's, basically need to know what the safest ratio's are for overclocking the card. My core clock and shader do not seem to increase/decrease off one another so I need to adjust each one manually, same go's for the memory clock. I.e for every 5mhz increase in core, how much should shader and memory clocks change?

Current core: 955Mhz, +5mhz from stock

Generally for fermi, the shader cores are twice the GPU speed.

Ok so 2:1 ratio, if I increase core by 10mhz, I should increase shader clock by 20Mhz?

That's what I would do for best sync. Although you may get even faster results in some cases with one higher than the other. Not tried it on mine so can't be sure.

I will try that 2:1 ratio and regarding memory clock, should this be increased if so whats a safe limit

what does the memory clock do and should it be increased along with core and shader?

Memory clock basically means how much data can be passed to and from the memory. Faster the clock, more bandwidth there is. It doesn't make as much difference to performance though as shaders and core.

What is a decent increment for the memory clock?
