    I keep MSN messenger and winamp at the right of my screen. They're always used really, I want to know if theres a way to make them always on top, so that any overlapping windows will go behind them?

    I don't know if this works with older versions, but with winamp 3 just right click on the main window, go to options and select Always On Top. With MSN Messenger (3.6 anyway) go to View -> Always On Top.

    Winamp = Ctrl+A
    MSN 4.xx = 'Tools' Menu -> Always on Top

    Thanks guys, that's great. Not sure why I didn't spot that before.

    Another Question now - do you know how in Mozilla when you open a second window it kinda opens it a little to the right of the first window and so on? Do you know how I can stop that and make it so that every window opens in the same place and is the same size.

    If it's running on Windows thats an arse to do, because thats what windows does as a handy feature...

    I'm sure someone else has worked out a way to do it :worried:

    Windows xp pro. Another handy feature :rolleyes: hehe.

    If we wanted access to the other windows by clicking on them directly, we wouldn't need a taskbar.

    Oooh, another question about msn and winamp. Can I have it so that they're like permenantly there ie. They don't show in the taskbar and can't be minimized, simply either open or closed. This will be trickier I expect.

    ADDED:
    Ok, I've sorted the problem for Winamp kinda. I just have it displaying in the system tray only, that means that I don't have to put up with it in the taskbar and it just kinda stays where it is. Now to fix it for msn...

    For always on top, transparency and minize to try, look at PowerMenu, hardly ues any resourcesand just adds nice little menu items.

    I use it and love it!
