    Hey all,

I was just writing a blog on my views on MSN messenger for mac, and I was just wondering what the general consensus of Mac users was? How many of you actually WANT the extras that WLM users get? Or does aMSN/Mercury satisfy those needs perfectly? Or do you not miss them at all?

One thing I've noticed is that Microsoft seems to view the Mac Messenger as a business tool, whilst the windows one as a leisure tool. Anyone else noticed this? Check out the drivel they posted to try and calm the community over the lack of A/V...

It is a bit annoying not to have the AV features, but I survive with Adium quite well and it's nice that people can't send me those horrible animated winks :)

When using Gaim I don't miss most of the features but the A/V stuff comes in useful sometimes.

I'm a aMSN user, and I'm quite happy with the minimalistic, no nonsense/bloat approach
