Networks Multi PC control software (Like VNC but not)

    Ok, ages ago I used a piece of software which let you slide off the edge of your screen, as if you were using multiple desktops, but this would actually let you move over to another PC (via the network).

    i.e. PC1 Display 1 <-> PC1 Display 2 <-> PC2 Screen

    I could move the mouse all the way from PC1/D1 to PC2 Screen.

    It was freeware as well.. anyone know what it was. It's a tricky thing to search for and I only remember it because someone told me about it.

    No, you see that's why I put 'like VNC but not' :)

    VNC allows you to control the desktop of PC2 in a window on PC1, however this software lets you 'pan' over to the Monitor of PC2 from PC1.

    Ah, that's me being muddled.

    Was it Zap who uses something like this on his work machine?

    only 563KB? is that right? that cant be right, for the EXEs for a windoze env.????

    No it wouldn't, but I'm sure there is a simular program for MAc's somewhere on the net....

    I use a remote program Called Netop very easy to use and it does what your looking for. Used in schools alot to monitor pupils untill the pupils get it lol. hope it helped

    It uses VNC, it's called WIN2VNC.

    Just search goole.
