Hey there Recently I been considering to go get a system that's liquid cooled, but also low maintenance which the NZXT G10 Kraken offers. So after finally getting hold of one of those, I want a quiet case that supports multiple CPU liquid coolers (closed circuit). Was considering something along the lines of a Corsair H105 for the GPU and a Corsair H90 for the CPU. The trouble finding a good case, that is also quiet, without too much modding. The current build I'm using is: Motherboard: ASUS Z87 Sabertooth (ATX) CPU: Intel i5 4670 PSU: Corsair TX750 GFX: Gigabyte 770 GTX (4GB rev 1.0) HDD: 1x SSD, 2x 7200 RPM and 1x 10000 RPM RAM: 3x4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz I've gotten the NZXT G10 Kraken as mentioned, so the GPU cooler I'm aiming for either Corsair H105 / H110 or maybe the NZXT X60 Kraken. CPU would be Corsair H90 or NZXT X40 Kraken. Prefering the Corsair as they're already on the market and easy to get a hold of, but would be willing to wait for the NZXT solution. (Not a big fan of the other 3 brands the G10 supports) It's rather hard to find a silent case which it's possible to fit 2 radiators into for this sort of build. I do not plan on expanding with SLI or anything like this, if that affects the choices. So figured I'd try with the experience from BT, as there seems to be quite a few experienced people in here. I know it's not as efficient as the "high-end"/custom liquid cooling, but it covers the job for me. I've been looking at these cases: Antec P280 BitFenix Ghost (Failed due to poor build quality) Cooler Master Silencio 550 Fractal Design R4 (Requires modding) Nanoxia Deep Silence 5 Nanoxia Deep Silence 6 (Will all fit, but only a last option due to it's size) Corsair 550D Corsair 330R Lian-Li PC-B12 Silverstone Fortress 2 According to what I could read majority of these cases required a fair bit of modding to make this build work out, which I'd like to avoid. The Nanoxia 1-4 seemed too small without any major modding. Do you guys know any good silent cases that it would be possible to use multiple radiators in? Using the coolers mention. Eventually if there's any good/bad experience regarding using such in the mentioned cases. Also, will that PSU cover this build when it's sorted or should I consider upgrading that aswell? Just got approved to use forum - So hope the post followed the requirements listed. If there's any further information required, please do say. Kind regards Zehheal
Apparently the 250d can fit two radiators, I only know this because I'm looking into building with it. I'm not sure it would be quiet enough for you though. I think it can fit a 240mm in the side, along with a 140mm in the front.
Well Corsair 250D is a Mini ITX motherboard though, which doesn't quite support the ATX I currently have and intend to use. Unless you mean a bit of modding would be required to do this.
No problem mate, can be tough with that wall of text I posted in the original there I found that the Cooler Master Silencio 652S may actually cover my needs, as it supports a 240mm both in top and front. Seems unavailable in the majority of Europe at the current time though, so may have to either wait or go for the 652.
