multiple HDD's

    ok heres the deal I have a file server machine on my network full of movies etc but I need to fit another HDD in there and I cannot be bothered to change a HDD out to fit a bigger one ( too much hassle ) what Is my best option regarding ide controller cards that would allow my to add HDD's to my system :confused:

    is there not a spare channel on your ide cable?

    just add a standard ide controler card to a pci slot. promise do some good ones.

    I added a HighPoint Rocket controller to my old system when i ran out of IDE Channels.. wasnt expecting much as it was cheap, but was very fast when neasured with Sandra.
