    Hey all,

I recently went on a cruise in Alaska and was able to capture about 10-15 frames of a glacier breaking off and falling into the water. The shots are great but I would like to crop them even so that you cannot see the camera moving as I was taking them.

What would be the best way to crop these multiple images so that they are they share the same common border so it doesn't look like the camera is moving?
    Thanks!

Since there are only 10-15 shots, my first guess would be to drop them into individual layers in your image editing program of choice, get the fist image where you want it, then carefully rotate/move/adjust each layer in succession so that it matches the first layer. You can temporarily turn down the opacity of the working layer so that it's easier to see the first layer. After you have them all set, you can crop the overall image to the desired look, then save each layer as its own image.

Granted, I seem to have a knack for finding the most convoluted way of performing what should be simple tasks, so there may very well be an easier way to do all this.

If you're thinking of making some kind of very short time-lapse video, I believe some of the better video editing programs have built-in features to automatically align and stabilize image sequences.

Ok that makes sense, I wasn't sure if there was another way of doing it so I thought I would ask. The goal of this is not a time lapse video but of about 10 frames next to each other showing the fall of the ice. These would then be separated by black borders.

It is a request from my mom for a present from our holiday in Alaska

With so few frames, I'll agree with Supermonkey on this one.
