    It's not faster failure... it's a higher amount of over provisioning coupled with a much more aggressive ECC and wear leveling monitor. There has been quite a few very positive reviews for the controller in these... the move from Toshiba toggle nand that has previously been used in the top tier consumer ssds to A19 TLC is likely what is keeping the price lower.
