Any DJ's around on Bit-Tech? I create some tracks once in a while, but lately it's not going too well anymore due to some unknown reasons. So who's a DJ as well (amateur/pro I don't care )? What do you use to create tracks, where do you get your inspiration, what style do you create... Anyone?
Usually the term DJ is used to describe someone who 'mixes' tunes (usualy in a club), I think your describing yourself as a music producer really. Im a DJ tho - HipHop / D&B, more a battle DJ than a club, but I have been known to throw down a good set once in a while
I guess you're right... I ment music producers actually. Here in the Netherlands they are mostly referred to as DJ, but you are right indeed! But I am also talking about people who show off their creations in front of a public
Always wondered why the european dance acts are 'DJ pussyfootwombatman' now I know. Um, Penski does a bit of work on music stuff, dunno if it's public performed tho? (You may wanna sort the title of the thread to something to do with music production btw.)
