What I recommend to do, is like me: have a dual partition. C:\ with Windows only. D:\ everything else. This way, when you need to re-install.. all you need to backup (or copy to D:\ partition) is AppData (C:\Users\<ACCOUNT>\AppData). AppData has all your program configurations.

After you reinstall Windows, just re-link Documents, Music, Video's, etc.. to the D:\ drive appropriate folders, and you have the list of all your software. And in the case of emergency, many software can run without being installed.

Why do you have four web browsers?

You do realise that OpenOffice has had development stopped on it, and the developers moved over to LibreOffice?

One of my eternal standbys has to be 4NT (now superseded by TakeCommand), the CMD replacement. Luckily, JPSoft offers a free console-only version (TCC/LE) which still beats CMD with its hands tied behind its back. :)

why do you have 2 ears?

Some browsers are better for different uses.
Not every one likes the same browser.

Also some people do a web development, and need all the popular web browser to test their website.

Yes lets try and get this one stickied so we do not have to keep redoing the the same thing. Will work on getting those links in here (the active ones)

    Agreed. But four of them?
EDIT: I would do the same if the need arose.

If he's a web developer then I have nothing more to say.
