I`m looking for a new mouse.. Optical of course.. So what do I have to choose on.. a MX 500 or a Intelli 3.0.. don´t know wich to choose.. as usually. I have seen a new mouse, don´t remember it´s name but I remember it was verry thin, green leds in bottom and it had a name starting on S. ADMIN: I dont know if this is the right thread for this otherwise move it as you like.
MX500. It has more buttons, and feels a considerable amount heavier than a MS 3.0. Also seems a lot easier to paint/mod an MX500, as you have to remove the feet of the Intellimouse, which is a bit of a hassle [ or was, for my bro ]. Also, peripherals is the forum for you!
It's all down to personal preference. I prefer the Intellimouse for fit but the Logitech for "feel". Go to your nearest computer store, try them both out then buy online .
i really like my intellimouse 3.0 i like the fact that its very light the mx5/700 has extra buttons by the wheel doesnt it? stupid place if you ask me and the thumb buttons aren't big enough and its HUGE
mx500... logitech specialize in mice and keyboards... microsoft specialise in everything but its one of those topics where youre one way or the other, and the other is always evil!
Im with Flix.. M$ make software.. Logitech make Peripherals...... its a no brainer... mx700 duo ($179AUS) unless u dont like cordless or wanna save a FEW $$s... then go the mx500 and elite kb
mx series are the best their sensor is really precise there are many buttons and it is beautiful it feels great to have it in you're hand
Yeah, there are buttons next to the wheel...awkward for me, but they aren't intended for gaming. The thumb buttons sit *gasp* right under my thumb. There are two thumb buttons and I use both ingame easily. Maybe it's because I'm used to it, but I dunno. Anyways, I vote for the MX500/700. Seriously though, just go cordless. You wont have to drag that cursed cable all over the desk with you.
I have buyed a Intelli 3.0 now. The MX was to small , I didn´t get the right grip on it. I did not try the Mx700 but it is to expensive anyway. Thanks for subscribing
