idea ive had for the site i own also, kinda like a splash screen playing on the digital artisan theme.

It was pretty time consuming as originally there was a woman in the picture, had to paint her out. original

It's a lot darker then the original, reminds me of the Encarta game.

Not sure how it makes it digital either really, the replacement for the woman could just be a sculpture. I'd recommend using a monitor and a tablet to illustrate more effectively the "digital" aspect.

Very good removal of the original woman though, was the darkening to remove and minor blemishes from her removal?

    Thanks everyone for the comments.

Nah, was just me messing with gradient maps as per usual, bad habit of mine, constantly fiddling with everything.

I think I may redo it but with a more recognisable game character.

I recognise the character, and I understand your reasoning behind it, the character is a digital artwork but with strong classical artwork influences, but it's very easternised (as opposed to westernised) and is really only one which people with their ears to the grindstone will understand.

I would say look at Zelda: Twilight Princess' "human form" Midna. Not the best picture but you get an idea as to why I say her.
