My Case mod (56k watchout!) Project Religion

I have one of those Ugly-@$$ Beige cases, and decided to spice it up...
i started by marking out my lines to cut out ( for putting in a window )


Then I took it over to the drill press... I decided to drill out the corners, then connect the dots with a jigsaw:


The side piece, with holes :


Then I cut out the parts i wanted gone:


I am going to sand them down, and apply finishing touches to the sides today.

 

can u scale down the first pic - bit big. other piics are fine

I finally finished creating templates for the fan grills I plan to make, Here is a mockup of the side panel, assuming it has windows, with the fan grills on it.

 

2nd one without the star and maybe a cross in the middle?

 

I wasnt asking you guys to choose one, thats what its going to look like, its going to have both. One on top, and one on the bottom. Heaven and hell, yno? then "You choose" symbolizing your ability to choose one or the other.

 

the star doesnt technically symbolize hell..but sure

one side of the case, heaven the other side hell that would be sweet, espeically with some nice paintings on each side

or maybe do a simple paint job, white on one side, then black on the other, but make em fade into each other or somtin

So I finally got the side painted, I havent installed the windows yet though. Here`s a pic with the side panel on:

Then I moved the HDD rack to the bottom of the case. I dont have a before pic, sorry, but you can see it at the bottom of the case:

My plan is to install a window in my CD-RW and place it sideways in the case so that you can see the window in it through the case window:

I also got the aluminum for the fan grills and will make those soon.

i like the "you choose" idea. but heaven and hell is just christianity, isn't it? i think you should have many religions Buddhism, hinduism, and flip that pentagram around and you got judaism (jews?)! you could still keep the door because that could be the christianity side. just a thought

anyway, looks good so far!

 

ummm...Judaism is a six-point star, just thought I would point that out. I like this idea, as well, incorporating many different religions into the case. Maybe make each side of the case a different religion? I don't know, but so far your idea looks great.

 

Ack, I have a problem. I assembled the case today, and the cdrom window dosent show through the side of the case. The frame for the side windows covers it. But you know what that means? I get to make a bigger window . I still am having a lot of trouble making the fan grills, but those will be done soon.

 

the five pointed star is paganism, and the upside down star is for but-nuggets who wanna be cool
I like this idea but i can deffinitly see this ending in alot of flamming so lets all try to respect each others religions
