my cd burner is smoking!!

i fired up infra recorder for the first time on vista today. this freaked me out a little.

yes, that is animated, alpha blended smoke coming out of the top of the program window. what the hell?

 

And there I was, about to demand photos and poke fun..

 

NO, DON'T LET THE MAGIC SMOKE OUT!!!

I think it's a joke they the software developers decided to do, as they can do it under vista.

My vote is for emergency oven tray, when your really need oven chips any thing metal will do.

LOL, and would you beleive it still works and I still use it! This one didn't make it though... but almost. It was close.



I think it'd make a good example of the durability of Plextor drives though. Here's the whole story, enjoy! At first sight you might think it would turn people off of water cooling but I think it should serve to open peoples eye's that computer's aren't so fragile and if a leak occurs it probably won't be the end of the world.

BTW, nice find supertoad. I'll have to look into burning something with Vista... Nice find! Oh, and sorry about the brief hijack.
