There is no heavy modding on this one. My whole goal was to get a coolermaster tower, which i have faithfully wanted for over 4 years now, and make it a clean aluminum and blue tower. I'm a huge fan of blue, white and silver together, and thats what i wanted to do with my pc.
I could never afford one before, but now I can, so now i present you with my case.
Everything is kinda in revearse order, but uploadit.org organized them that way and I am really lazy.

    Some finished pics:

Even nice with the lights off

And now what happened while putting at all together:

I love removable motherboard trays, and the Coolermaster Hyper-6 is a beast.

OH NO! MY ATI X800 PRO IS GONE!

    Naked tray
    [IMG]

All white cables.... *ahhhhhhh* so nice

They are always the sexiest naked. :thumb:

And the front before it all began
    [IMG]

Be careful when using a dremel with the metal routing bits. ;)

Like I said, I am not looking for the ultra modded look. So do you guys like?

    [EDIT]
On page 2 i just posted about this update

I like it, it's simple but looks good!

Maybe you need to a bit of cable management though :p - can you tuck any away behind the mobo tray? And perhaps move the extra USB ports down to the bottom PCI slot so the cables don't have to be up so high and visible.

Im thinking about the usb cable things. The only problem is to not break up the front of the case i had to put a bunch of cathode cables in the bottom of the case. As of now the sun is still out and the case is only together for 2 hours. So dark/night pictures soon.

Cable management in a little bit. Oh and now that I think of it im just giong to remove the back USB/Firewire now that i have them in front.

Stay patient for a few hours and ill get some nicer pics up.
    thanks

About the cable management, I cannot run anything behind the motherboard tray because the end closer to the front has a piece coming down nearly to the back panel. So cables can go behind it, but they arent coming back out!

    Very nice!
    A few questions:

Could you post your specs? (CPU, mobo, psu, ram..)
What sleeving did you use, was it a kit or was it just from scratch?
That external plexi look is great, are those rivets or bolts?
What CPU cooler is that, I know I've seen it before but I might think about getting one and this case :p

    Comments:
The finished product is awesome, the colors mix together greatly.
I love the sleeving, great job.

edit; After looking around I found out what CPu cooler that is... but I was thinking that you did that window yourself, it's a premade one on newegg :|

    Abit AI7
    P4 3.0 oc'ed to 3.4
512 MB Corsair XMS timed 2-3-3-6, in dual channel mode
36Gb WD Raptor 10,000rpm SATA HD
    60Gb Maxtor 7200rpm IDE HD
Antec Tru430 in my Coolermaster Praetorian
    ATI Radeon X800 Pro 256mb card oc'ed to 513 core / 550 memory
    Lite-on 52x CD-RW

All of the sleeving is FLEXO PET sleeving that I got through performance-pcs.com. The heatshrink needs no explination.
About performance-pcs.com, it was probably the most friendly customer service I have ever recieved. I'm a sales associate and deal with people. I truly respect the level of help and involvement they gave me. I know I could never do that myself.

The side panel is straight from Coolermaster. Its about $40 extra but well worth it. I cannot find even the smallest imperfection in the panel. Its perfect. Oh about the rivets,
they are actually screws. <- Link is to the bit-tech review of the old version of the panel. Screws are the same, though. Coolermaster's page about the panel

It's the coolermaster Hyper-6. With some artic silver 5 and any 80mm fan your pc will run about 37 C idle and i have yet to go over 49 load. Compare that to the stock cooler and you get about 41-43 idle, and mid to high 50's load. The only thing I worry about is all the weight, so when I do transport my case its always on its side!

Lastly, here is the almighty pic of the strange CPU socket.

One more... *sigh* expensive boxes are so beautiful

Was the toy car really necessary in assembling the pc?

Oh, and I know exactly how you feel about the expensive boxes. Suddenly you dont want to recycle the cardboard... but rather make a glass case and display it ;)

i bumped the front grill in a little. the toy skyline's antenna was perfect to pull it back out!
    So yeah, it was necessary.

looks nice, and gotta love the fact that white and black sleeving really doesn't hide all the wiring underneath it all that well. Overall, a nice lookin case!

I really like the airy blue aura that your case has. :D

Change the mobo LED, it shines like a becon amongst all that blue.

Thanks, i am surprised that everyone is so nice about my case. yes its clean but its not super modded like some other stuff on this site. then again thats not the point or goal of my case. thats for everyone's support and not telling me that blue is way too overdone!

am i going completely insane or was there a picture of a CM cavalier in here aswell? I could have sworn i saw one when i looked at this thread the other day  i must be mad.

I think the reason everyone likes it is because it's so subtle and nicely done. there are so many over the top modding projects atm that its just nice to see something simple and cleanly done.

    Good job :)
