yup, you're crazy. no cavalier here. only cavalier i ever had was the really crappy p.o.s. car by chevy. thanks, and i agree. especially all these half life 2 / medieval mods, this is far from the norm lately. EDIT: POST 666!!! MUAH HA HA HA!!!!
my prae is better elemental fire in the bSt forum. this looks nice, although i gotta say i hate the external windows ;(
You can get copper shims that present flatter contact area so the weight of those big heat sinks isn't so concentrated on the raised areas. My Athlon 64 is flat, thankfully, so I didn't have that problem with my own heat sink (which is a different large one)
who'se to say yours is better? im a fan of minimalist, clean lines. everything is white blue or aluminum with nothing looking out of place. you on the other hand have a crazy side panel with moulding and led fans and etches. I do think you should drop the black moulding or at least get something silver. (i dont like windows with a rubber border). oh and get floppy bay covers!!! both are nice and both cases fit our own personal style.
w00t finally got my 6" lcd in. Right now im running EbitEQ on it so i can see all but gfx card temps. Thinking of samurize but i really dont like the program too much since i need to run MBM anyway to get the info. thats way too much crap running in the bacground for me. ENjoy: Link to one really nice HI-RES image [56k dont even try!] LCD VERY CLOSE UP [1.28mb]
quick question, how is it wired? it doesnt look like amazing quality which leads me to believe its on a vid output... is it?
its just a bare lcd from partsexpress with RCA video. its not very precise but i dont want it to be. i dont want to mess around with vga and wiring it myself. its very plug and play except fitting it in, and thats what i wanted.
very nice looking case, that's kinda what I'm going for with mine right now (though I have lots of little things to do before it's anywhere near as nice). could you take a photograph of all the wiring for the lcd? I currently have a spare lcd from a camera and I wanna see if there's any way I can get an adapter for it or something, since it's a big messed up right now
Nice LCD...I'm liking it, and I think that I'm going to try an LCD mod simliar to yours, but with my PSone screen and a VGA connection instead. Maybe you'll see the screen when I'm finished and know you contributed.
thanks for all the positive feedback... two more lil pics before i stop flooding you with massive amounts of images. Tribes: Vengeance!
http://www.partsexpress.com/webpage.cfm?webpage_id=3&SO=2&&DID=7&CATID=44&ObjectGroup_ID=303 Is it one of those? ...I can't justify paying 100 bucks on an LCD display knowing I could've used that 100 to buy an extra 512MB of ram or another 200GB hard drive, or a tad better processor / video card.. Ah, guess it's this one: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=205-048 160 bucks? Ahh!
Its the bottom one. I dont need extra ram though, just bought that. and also check my sig i dont need much more. all i need now is the 17" lcd im getting in on friday and im done buying for this thing!
lol thanks. im glad you all like. thanks guys. anything else you want to see on this screen? doom 3 anyone?
