Hello I just got an idea ispired by the small shuttle PC's. I have always had a soft spot for small PC's, but shuttle & co. are to expensive and not flexible/upgradeble enough. My idea is to squeeze all the parts in a tiny space, yet a ATX motherboard and my DVD + burner must fit First I compare the size of my idea to a shuttle and a themaltake case. This i how the components should be squeezed The size of the idea in real life compared to my current case What do you think, will it look cool, or is it better to buy a full tower monster instead?
If you like small computers then sure it would look good if you used that plexi case for it but if you dont want to put that much work into the job then simply buy a larger computer and stick everything in there...another large factor is how often you take your computer places...i enjoy having a smaller computer so i can pick it up and move it to my friends house or whatever...the amount of time and effort you put into it will reflect (even if to no one but you) how cool it looks Good idea though shuttle cases have always annoyed me because of how much money they are
ok The entire idea began because a midi tower case is a nightmare to transport. I use a 15"TFT so the case is the major problem when I'm going to LAN parties. Have any of you seen a desktop/case with a similar design I think all cases use the same design, they only change the number of drives/slots. I wonder why all those manufactures can't design something new.
why fix what's not broken? i like the idea of leaving it to a certain extent to the consumer to make their own case or make their case sweet. my case is actually in a treasure chest, with 6 yellow led fans in the front opening and 3 red cathodes inside it makes me happy
Yes i would rather have the mid Tower or a full monstor but a mid tower i would get first before i would even think about a moster towre full on. or might be nice if you wanted to do a nice DIY case build it your self
