The monitor on my daughter's Care bear computer crapped out, so now she's using my 19 inch LCD. Even I'm jealous!

    The Specs are:
    Asus motherboard
    Athlon XP 2200+
    512MB DDR333 Kingston HyperX
    Radeon 9700Pro 128MB
    Soundblaster 5.1

I've decided to do more upgrades just for the hell of it. Really, I think it'll be funny that her Care Bear panel could be hiding some sweeeeet components that anyone would want.

I bought another Kingston HyperX 512MB module to give her a total of 1GB. I'm also thinking of upgrading her 128MB Radeon 9700 Pro with something better. Would anything 256bit, 256MB be better? What do you suggest costing no more than $100?

lol its so cute! is it really nessisary to upgrade her vid card? i mean, if your daughter likes playing hl2 and shes got that thing, either shes way to young for that game or she really doesnt care that shes got the girlyist, most childish case on the planet. dont get me wrong though, the case looks cool, i just wouldnt put it on display in my home or anything. so i would look for better places to spend money first, then buy a better card.

im suprised all that can fit in that EMACHINES case! blah, i spit on emachines, mearly because i own several and dont like them. is that an emonster series? thats what i have. did you get a new psu? i renember that those cases have a wierd sized psu so a normal atx one would not fit.
