Two suggestions: Take proper images. All of them are out of focus or shaking.
Use those beutiful buttons with "." and "," on them.

    Firstly, chill.
Secondly, it doesn't matter how new the parts are, a 12month old 9800pro is still a heap faster then a Radeon 7500 no matter how new it is :blah:. I hate to say it, but if anyone were to pay $2000US for that comp they'd be
    1. crazy
    2. getting ripped off... bad.

.. oh and by the way, typing your whole post in uppercase makes you looks like your 12 years old...

Ok, I know that most comments in this thread are very critical, but you do not have the right to throw comments like
at other members of this forum. They are just giving their opinion, which is essentially what you asked for. Using capital letters to emphasise your negative attitude, whilst including lots of spelling errors as well as bad syntax is not going to change the opinions of others - it will rather make them laugh. If you really paid $2000 for this system, why don't you just list each components and its price? Don't be discouraged by all the criticism, but don't expect everyone to love your computer!

if your "neighbor" knows more about computers than anybody on this site
how did you end up seemingly getting ripped off
you havent stated everything that you got, but i cant even tally up that system even if i use uk prices, and there way higher than america

so you're saying that your (one) nieghbor has more knowledge about PCs and the prices of PC components than 16,801 members of bit-tech? plus i built my bro a pc that would rape yours in any benchmark for less than $763 last christmas

Man.. chill, and slow down. Take a deep breath.

Ok, now... You don't get what we're saying. Ok? We are trying to tell you that just because your components are less than 3 months old that it beats any older computer. We're also telling you that your 3 month old computer wasn't smartly selected (for a 2000 dollar pc anyways...), we're not trying to diss you or your computer.. just stating our opinions exactly as you asked us to..

well let me tell you something:

i got this system last summer

    shuttle sn45g (mobo+psu+case)
    (fn45 mainboard (nforce2))
    Amd Athlon Xp 2800+
    2x 512MB DDR400 cs2.5 (MDT)
    Ati Radeon 9800Pro 256MB DDR
    120GB + 80GB Maxtor Maxdiamond 9 Plus
    Thosiba DVDrom

that is about the same you got now; actualy it's alot better; the total price of the system was under the € 900; say about $ 850; (without taxes) you got ripped off for real; $2000 is more than double than your system is worth

:sigh:. Does your neighbor know how to unplug your modem so you can't flame people unknowledgably? The age of components doesn't matter much at all...most good components will last 10+ years. I'm running an 8 year old Gateway with a PII 333 as a server, and it still runs as well as it did when it was new. Now, if I were to go buy a brand new PII system, it could be a day old and it would still be a horrible computer to game on. So, age doesn't matter, it matters how good each individual component is. In the same way, I could stick an X800 XT PE (if I would ever get it after I ordered it  ) in that PII, and it still wouldn't perform. Why? Because 1) The PII is an outdated processor, and 2) The rest of the system bottlenecks the graphics card. If you show any other member of Bit this thread, and ask them their opinion, they'd say your case sucks, your rig won't perform, and that you are lacking greatly on the maturity points. Oh, and I believe this site may be of use to you.

Ok to clarify yes he did get a deal (from what he has said) he paid $200, and his neighbor (dang friendly neighbor) gave him the rest of the components, which by some scandal manage to add up to $2000.

We are not trying to blast you and your machine, the users of this forum are simply expressing their opinions (what did you expect to happen when posting here?).

To me it seems like you got a machine, did some very simple alterations to your machine, then came here and bragged about your rig. IMO had you been trying to just show people your machine and then get opinions, you wouldn't have stated how much you paid for it, nor how much you think it is worth (which is WAY over estimated).

Erm...in what world is $700 close? For the "close" call you made with difference, I could build quite the decent system...so you can just go ahead and ship that on my way :hehe:. And how in the hell did you get $750 bucks outta that WC system? It's a pre-packaged deal, and I already gave you a newegg.com link to exactly that WC system, it was something like $140 iirc, but it's on the thread back a page...did you buy 6 waterblocks for each component or something??

At least we cleared things up a little.

Anyways, I would have to agree that the case does look a little cluttered, but you seem to be doing ok at cleaning it up. My biggest inspirations have come from looking at other users projects. Just let your mind fly with ideas, and mod on :dremel:
