Hey, I just put together my rig last week. Everything works fantastic, however one small annoyance is that my first boot of the day, every day always blue screens. After a restart or if I turn the pc on again it works just fine.

Has anyone heard of this or know any solutions?

My brother had a simular issue of random blue screens which was down to his DVD-ROM I believe.

Any suggestions on ways to fix this? Thanks.

process of elimination: Disconnect everything that's not absolutely essential to run, and see if it still does it. If not.. then reconnect everything one by one until it does it again.

If you have onboard graphics on your board, use that rather than a PCI-E card as well to rule out that... same with sound.

Network drivers up to date? They're swines for causing blue screens too.
