Well this may not be a mod, but things got modded. This morning, it being cold as it is, I probably should have tested the path between my car and the front of my work. I was carrying in my computer... Yeah, I fell flat on my back. SAVE THE COMPUTER! I thought as I went down. I only managed to bust off the front hinged cover, which went back on but no longer has a latch. Also, the case is cracked and scratched on one corner. Good thing everything still works! What a relief, I just put in another 200gig drive yesterday, for a total of 440 gigs... mmm, I would have been pissed if ontrack told me one was broken. It was funny though... after I fell, I proceeded to slide all the way down the parking lot on my back, thats how slick it was.
lmao, wow, that really sucks bout falling on your back, good thing the comp survived. if i were you i would be making an appointment at my chiropractor right about now. heh heh heh, slid down the parking lot...it was freezing this morning. the schools were closed due to a wind chill day. muah ha ha ha. no school for me!! but yea, to lose 440 GB due to a fall....man, i woulda cried...then i woulda had frozen tears on my face. and it would cascade from there. lol.
Tomorrow is out last day of school before the break (Missouri, USA). In school... on the 22nd... nazis. Sucks about dropping your computer. That would have really sucked if it took out your hard drives. I'm always paranoid about that (damaging thing while moving computers). Its kinda funny, the 13 inch tv I have on top of my tower fell off a few days ago, but it didn't go all the way because it wedged itself between my tower and a shelf next to it.
Here (Scotland) we break up today. I didn't go in though. (Who does on the last day!?!) And while I'm on the subject, I'm sick of hearing on the TV about the English holidays. They go on about how the holidays have started yada yada as if we don't watch the BBC! Why not call it the EBC (English Brodcasting Corporation)? Sorry, but I just had to say it. _C
alot of people around here... last day is finals lol but im in college and we got out on the 10th MUAHAHHAAHAHAH and dont go back till the 17 of january... MUAHAHAHAHAHAh i love it... and it just snowed today YAY
Join the club. My 12 year old son started his winter break last Friday. I start mine in 6 hours - company is closing up til the 4th of January for employees - The contractors still have to work.
Ouch... reminds me of the time I fell down the stairs backwards carrying a Peavy amp and a Gibson LesPaul custom. The point is it hurt horribly to have a heavy amplifier rolling over me.. but the equipment survived.
