this is my first modding attempt, simple but i intend to do more. its a antec 1080.

    bfore i cut the window

getting ready to cut my window all taped up and i used these tools plus a dremel i bought later on.

some pics with the window hole cut out.

    now with the window.

only decent pic, because my camera is old and not enough light coming through the window, because it is sexy and tinted. im going to be adding leds to the grille, 2 80 or 120 mm blowhole fans and 2 more ccfl's. oh btw this is my first post here.

nice first mod, very very clean and straight cuts!
my advice to you, angle those corners on the box that juts out around the handle, will look less sharp and add a lilttle bit of variation!
    j
    ps should look like this:
    Code:

      \ |

      / |
    - |
    | |

i think im gonna put some black putty round the edge of the window, because the silver shows out too much. only gonna put a tiny layer. anyone tried this?

yea, ive already stripped back the paint, because that is my redhat box, i will prob do a window with a linux etching and paint it blue or red, not sure what colour though yet. not very inspiring or original idea, but i havent put much thought to it yet, if anyones got any good idea's id be happy to take them into consideration, i have a pretty big budget, but im not doing water cooling.
