Thanks to all the people that replied to my first post about power cables. I have got most of them out of the way, but it is not totaly compleate yet. I am waitting for the Spiral Wrap to arrive.

So far to date I have put a windowed panel in and a couple of rounded IDE cables. I also attacked the insides of the case with some metal polish to give it that extra bit of shine. I also removed all the front panels from the CD/DVD and floppy drives and painted them with some Plasti-Kote Gloss black paint.

Here are some pictures I have taken so far but the quality is not very good as i do not have a D/C yet.

I will be adding a case light within the next couple of days, so if anyone can give me any ideas of the best place to put it in the case that would be great.

My next plan is to add some black light tubes and then paint the fans with uv paint. I want to find a small one to put in the front of the case to light up the fans in the front of the case behind the front bezel.

A window etch is going to be added but i am trying to find something that is not so common or a company that can produce one for me from some artwork. As for the other side panel I am going to have a design air-brushed onto it, but that will be when my cash flow is a little bit better.

Please be honest about my plans and if you think i am going over the top or if there is anything else you think i could add.

Once again sorry for the picture quality and thanks for your help.

    Looks good so far

What about a bit of black model paint on those window screw/bolt heads. It's pretty thin; I think you would still be able to use them if you had to. They stick out a bit right now, unless you're going for the inductrial look.

Couldn't see in the case as well as I'd have liked to, so how are you handling wire management?

I can't knock anyone's mods, I've yet to get pictures of any of mine out on the web yet! US Federal Income Tax refund check just came in so I'm buying a digital camera this weekend!

the best places to put cathodes are just out of site underneath the window. If you get 2 different coloured ones then you put them out of sight on the edge on the window on opposite side and the light from them seems to mix together in th middle creating a really cool effect.

No that you mention it i think i will paint the rivets in black. They do stick out a bit. I will try and get some better photos up to give people a better look.

Also you might want to take the floppy drive apart and paint the beige inside bits and the button black. Even if you just use a paint brush then it will probably make it look a lot better. As it is a different colour at the moment it really stands out.
