Congratulations on ordering a motherboard. In three months, the time it will probably take you to get a processor, the board will be $10-20 cheaper. But really dude, youre a little (very) young to use the forums.

Technically thats what we're here for, teamtd11. Be that as it may, timothy, you need to grow up a bit before venturing out into the wide wide world of intenret forums, where the average age here is more than twice yours.

I get the feeling you need to learn more about computer hardware. Check out www.howstuffworks.com and search for the technologies you want to learn about, and be ready with a dictionary; some of the vocabulary is definitely going to be beyond what you currently know - but its information you need to ready yourself with for a technical forum. This goes to anyone who wants to ask questions like "Whats the difference between DDR and DDR2 RAM".

Im with Roto on this one, Tim im sure ur a nice kid but u are jumping the gun abit. And as Roto says majority of the member here are atlest twice ur age if not older. Also the internet isnt a safe place for extreme-youngsters even if it is a hardware forums like Bit-tech.

Oh come on he may know how to build a PC. Ive known some people that are young 11-12 that know the in and outs of a pc, and can build them. Of coarse I dont know this kid though. Its rude though to judge someone on their age, I mean he does know how to order the parts, and even knows what they are.

Its also reckless not to give cautionary warning, crazydeep. Lets face it; at 10 years of age, kids arent exactly loaded with frontal lobe processing capacity.

    lol, thats true as well!
    good argument here!
i feel that while some kids would be able to build a pc, most wouldnt and it is necessary to giv a warning b4 they go out and blow up £1000 of hardware. :duh:

Youd be supprised. Ive met 10 y/os who have more common sense than people 3 times their age. Its their wallet capacity that's the limiting factor.

Rofl, when I was 10 neither existed!

TBH though your being a bit hard on him, sure his post was absolutely pointless but you don't know what he's capable of.

But Frank, your posts are valid. Most of the stuff timothy is posting is offtopic and totally meaningless to the majority of us.

What's even more amazing is that he has got his own phase setup. Which has greatly inspired me to do one myself, which I might do in my next mod sometime.

Er, congratuations. Mine arrived a while ago :)

    (n-1)*42^96.2
    23.5^3

where n is the number of transistors in your processor.

On a serious note, I suppose we here can give this guy some help, who knows he might become the brains of the tech world, Bill gates wrote his first major program when he was 13, not too far off then...
