Most people dont realise this, but im only 13

I think its unfair to judge someone based on their age
Give the guy a break, so long as he doesnt spam in future there no harm in it

When I was 10 the fastest cpu was a 486. Most systems were equiped with 8mb of ram. And 32mb was considered huge. Not to mention a 500mb hdd cost close to a grand.

I feel like a geezer. In computer terms my age would be the same as christs age.

    YOU GET A GOLD STAR!

Seriously, what are you thinking? I bought some Swiss Cake Rolls and a humidifier tonight, and I didn't deem it necessary to create a thread about it...

Wow, you're old! I'm only (counts fingers and hold up 3) three and a half years old! You're an old fart!

On a side note, congrats man on your first purchase. Just don't start too young or you'll end up like Roto. :D

LoL, this thread makes me feel old too.

    I bought earrings for someone's birthday today. (I'm 22)

I wonder how long before I buy a ring. :naughty:

Seriously though, 10 is a bit young and many 10 year olds lack the capacity (mental and financial) to participate in computer hardware related hobbies. But who knows, Timothy might be better equipped than we can tell.

He seems quite dedicated to assembling a system so I don't think that his age or financial status is what is holding him back; I think that his lack of experience could be the limiting factor. Of course we all start off with a lack of experience, but that deficiency can be balanced with adequate research abilities, an abundance of knowledge and at the very least an understanding of the information one acquires.

In terms of the out of place posts, eventually Timothy might learn what is appropriate for a forum and what should be placed in a blog entry. But for now, we can/should cut him some slack.

Still, your supposed to be 13 before you sign up to the forums aren't you?

Must admit though, i've been into computers since I was 5, I could program a speccy and a BBC micro before I started primary school :worried:

Posting in closed threads is fun!

Was amusing how many people thought Josh was 13, though :D
