I was just about to sell my 2008 Dolan Mythos frame. It was adverstised on this forum, but I have just noticed upson disassembling it the it's damaged were the front mech collar is.

Now Dolan used to have the front mechs as a braze on, but not any more. I fitted the band on that I was supplied with and tightned it with the correct torque, but now I see there has been damage caused, because this band on clamp dosent have the correct fit. I don't see that as my fault because I used the one they gave me and I used it correctly. The damage has put me off the frame and also off selling it. It's just over a year old. There are no terms or conditions on the Dolan website.

I have contacted them, but they only said they would send out a new band on that fits better, but the damage is already done. I have tekn very good care of the frame and I don't feel this damage was my fault, but I don't think they are willing to accept responsibilty for this damage. They said they would look at it if I sent it out which is no problem but the dont have the equipemtn to test it for damage internaly and even if the damage is only cosmentic, I don't find that acceptable.
Does anyone know what I can do about this or where I stand. I just want a replacment frame for the damage that Dolan are responsible for. Any advice would be greatly apprectiated. thankyou
