Hey guys, I am soon to be selling my computer, and upgrading to something... more powerful =)

Well, there you have it. Some of the hardware for my new setup I should hopefully be getting. I was wondering, everything there.. Would it run perfectly fine together?
P.S. Ignore the fact that some of the hardware is missing, (PSU for base unit, HDD's) ect.. I have those at home.

Oh, and would a 550W PSU manage the base unit? I would like this to be answered. =P

Depending on which one. If it's the stock aspire 550, then no.

I suggest the Corsair HX 620 now, and no odin 800 later. You won't need it.

I wouldn't go for that mobo. 650 is an old chipset now.
Other then that yeah looks good.

    My advice.

Change the brand of the 8800GT to EVGA, so that you can upgrade within 3 months of purchase if you "want" to, just pay the difference.

Also I think the eVGA cards are in this week, and BFG are in the next few weeks.

PSU: I like Seasonic, and this one is Modular. http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=475254 - Same price.

Case: Don't like it personally, looks a little plastic, but you might like it. :)

HDD: Are you getting these? If so Seagate are great, and cheap!

    looks pretty sweet.

if you are getting a hdd, the samsung spinpoints are very good vakue for money, 500GB £80 and there very quiet aswell. also i would recommend getting a new heatsink/fan, other than using stock (which i am assuming you are using as no other mention of a h/f any where else) i use a freezer pro 7, cheap and does the job great!! if not there are others out there to that might suit your needs better!

I have a P5N-E SLi. I like to play games and do some overclocking, does them all pretty well. One of the best bang for you buck motherboards.

NOT the P5N-E SLI - it has serious issues with chipset cooling. Wait a few weeks if you want nForce :worried: EDIT: Or, not :|

I dont know the details yet, mind.

The Corsair HX series are rebadged Seasonic units anyway

    And if he wanted anything more powerful than (i.e.) a 620w Corsair HX - for future-proofing... then I'd recommend a 750w PCP&C Silencer 750 Quad - for just £79.99 / £93.99
(Scan don't appear to stock PCP&C?)

Th graphics card I listed was definately subject to change, and I was going to buy the Zotac overclocked card, it is cheaper and delivers crazy performance. It scored 1-2fps under the GTX in the Crysis Demo.

About the motherboard, you believe I should wait? Is a new series of motherboard being released, or something? If so, im guessing that would raise the price above the motherboard i've selected here...
