    Hey all,

I've been looking for a golf for about 6months now. Anyways, I bought a golf driver 1.6, full mot, and service history only 61k on the clock:)!!!!! and fallen in love with it big style.(spent all day cleaning it up) It's 100% retro!! no mods no nothing. I was wondering could someone do a photochop on it for me?

Anyways I havent got any pics yet(getting my own sunday), but here are the ebay pics.

    here are some pics:

Not really one of my favorite cars, lol.
    Here is some photoshop tuning.

them alloys look a little small though mate, youll need 17's + for that golf.

in my mind all i would do to it is, get some decent wheels (17's+) lower it alot, mk2 big bumpers that are colour coded, then take the locks/handles off, smooth the boot-lid and then whack in a leather trim. clear lights all round with crossover headlights.
    sorted.

also, maybe a full roll cage and strip out the back and have some race seats with harness's. but it depends on how loony you want to go with it.
golfs are virtually limitless, i wish i had a mk2 instead of my mk3, way too heavy :)

    mod on tommy!

hehe, 2 12 inch JBL's and three amps helps get mine low too

i need to mod the front suspension really to make it look right but i think i might just strip it right back and drop a vr6 motor in it instead as im getting older now
    :duh:

i agree with you chemo, but disagree with 17". I'm getting big bumpers etc, and do the other mods. First mods im doing is work on the engine.

www.sc0rian.com/gti < my dads golf, with 17" on, its a bitch to drive. those wheels do look small i agree, but once lowered it will look good. and it was photochop.

Also mk3 is a damn damn heavy car!!! im so glad i got a mk2:) i love it as much as i love my pc's! and thats saying something.

also im lowering it 40mm/55mm. depending what i buy.

go to bottom, i might be getting that _might_. i want coilovers:(

hmmm i suppose its personal taste isnt it. i just like the arches filled well, ive not heard of any people having trouble though with 17's on their mk2's.
i hope to see it coming along soon mate, sound and looks like youve got a great little car in the making there

    :)

16s are best on that golf - certainly not 17s or anything over that :)

16's are a waste of money in my mind, in the long run especially. tyres are expensive to get new and arent stocked everywhere.

17s! lmao!! get some taste. :p But seriously you have to be very careful which rims you fit if you go for large ones. tbh the only reason a car like this should have 17s is if your fitting the porka rimms or if the brakes physicaly cant fit under anything smaller. theirs allways exceptions of course but be cearful otherwise everyones just going to call you chav! :D :D

I think to professional term for those wheels is **** :) Cheap yeh but they dont relly suite it i dont think. What you need is offset the more offset you have the further the wheels will stick out and you will get the dished look with stretched rubber that makes Euro'ed mk2 golfs so jizz worthy!

You should try and get hold of some wide steels

Or just let me Rat it :p :naughty:

The romos are spot on. Fronts could maybe do with being an inch wider (as in that pic) but you cant be too picky! :)

Have a look around, you should be able to find some cheap

go the euro way and slam it, put some 15's on and then just take off/smooth as much as you can.

    Nice :)
