hi ive just purchased a Sony Vaio on ebay for £225 VGN-N38E/W laptop running vista. (it hasnt been delivered yet) but i was looking at some pictures of it on the internet and i realised that the main body is silver but the half which the screen is attached to is white!!!!! I was just wondering whether someone could please tell me if it is a modern looking shiny white or a beige crappy white that you find on win 98 computers. it was only released last year so i would be annoid if it wasnt a nice laptop. It isnt usual that i spend more than £150 on my laptops as all i do is photo ediditng. Your ideas would be appreciated.
It'll be shiney. I wouldn't worry about it, especially until it arrives. It won't be beige, that's for sure. If it really is that ugly, you can always stick stickers on it!

Wow, your systems must have been terrible, no offence, but Photo Editing can benefit from some actual Power.... It will be a modern shiny white.
thanks for the info and yes my laptops were not great but i have recently invested 1700 pounds in to a desktop that has two gtx 275 graphics cards so i can actually play the modern games that come out. The laptops just for work though. Thanks
