Yeah i know the wires are a little messy, but i found it pretty hard to keep the wires clean. Around the end of June i finish school, so im going to add a window, and i will clean up the case then. Want to also Stealth the Drive.

Still need to get some Quiet Red Fans, some 4 Pin Molex to 3 Pin Fan adaptors to plug the fan into the Mobo.

Today i decided to start Overclocking the E7400, as i bought it with the intention of doing so. I knew it could hit around 4Ghz, so using some simple maths i started the clock at 350Mhz FSB, then 370, then 381, where i hit my4Ghz Target. Everything still seemed fine so i pushed it to 4Ghz, and ramped the fans up. It was all going well, temps below 60c, and no problems whilst playing some L4D. When i came out of L4D i ran some Orthos, and it seemed stable enough, so i began to lower the CPU Voltage. During my Overclock i had left the BIOS to Auto the Voltage, and it had decided to put 1.5v in. Intel states the limit for my CPU is 1.36, so i thought i best not go over that, so i set the voltage there and booted into XP, and set Orthos to run, and went and watched some TV. When i returned about 30 mins later the PC Had Reboot itself, so i clocked back down to 4Ghz and 1.3V, and its stable for me. And im really happy with it, could probably squeeze 4.2Ghz out of it, maybe even more if i knew what else i could do. But ohwell, for a first venture, im happy, and slightly hooked.....

    Cheers.

The Air flow is incredible, i can feel air being sucked in at the front, from the fans at the back!

As i said, at the moment i cant see the Wires, so its not a massive problem, theyre not really blocking airflow, its just the odd wire, it just looks bad.

Have you done anything with the USB/Sound Cable from the Front Panel?

No, i already had a copy of XP Pro. Which will be about £100. If your a student, MS Do a deal to let you get Vista Ultimate Upgrade for £40, then you just need to aquire a Retail copy of any Windows (98 fits on a CD......)

    And Cheers.

Just to say im now doing a 5 Hour Orthos at 1.3v and 4Ghz, seemed any lower V and it would fail after half an hour or so, so 1.3v seems to be the minimum. currently getting 50c on the cores after 2 hours 20.
