Nice car there. Please just don't shove a loud big-bore exhaust or some tacky stickers all over her.

[cars are still adressed as 'she' aren't they?]

    Yeah, original neat and tidy.

Don't barry it up and put massive wings on and dials and all that ****, looks good now :)

Don't worry, I wont be. The only long-term changes will be a complete new set of tyres, along with a new (discreet) exhaust.

Since purchasing it, I've only come across one other Skyline - which happened to be identical to this!

Does the speedometer still sweep to only 180km/h, or has the previous owner replaced the whole cluster? The HCR32 Nismo white instrument cluster that sweeps to 300km/h can be found quite cheap, if you know where to look.

It still says 180, but has been converted to mp/h. I'll keep an eye out for the NISMO cluster you mention - thanks!

The only downfall to owning this is that it manages a measly 18mpg on long journeys, though commuting to work I reckon it'll end up nearer 14mpg. Hurrah for £1+ p/litre super-unleaded fuel prices in the UK.

the law probably reads specifically modified with the intention of racing

for instance, i get hassled any time a cop looks into my honda as it has a full roll cage, and is missing most of it's interior... yet the only time that car is on the road, is for the trip to whatever autox or track i'm going to that day..

That's a nice car you've got there. I'm jealous, I've always liked skylines, especially the r32 and r33.

    Thanks!

I've not had much time to look around it properly since I bought it, so this Saturday I plan on spending the day cleaning it and looking for anything that needs attention. From our initial checks though, it is in great condition.

    £180 a year/£99 six months. My 1.2 Punto is £115 a year.
