I have the same ram and a 7900GS, and both are amazingly good performers! I don't know much about the others, but do not get a Pentium D, a Core2 is much better, and they do not cost much more then the 925. The motherboard is questionable too. I have not heard good things about the nForce chipsets for intel other then the 600 series. You may want to ask about the PSU too, but I'm not the guy to ask. If you can stretch the budget to a Core2, you won't regret it!

    The last time I checked, a 930 was 3.0.

    about what u all said

He thanks for the post, about the cd2 i think they are pretty nice but not worth the price especially since im on a tight budget. And about the 930,it is a 3GHz but so is the 925 the only difference is, is that the 930 supports virtulization technology and i really dont need that since im the olny person that will be using this pc at one time, VT is used to support multiple operating systems at one time. And for me that is not needed and the 925 is aroud 30 dollars cheaper.

With your budget, you could afford a Core2Duo system. Before I had to pay for other stuff I was hoping to have $650-ish budget and I could afford a Core2, a good overclocking board, and an X1900GT/7900GS depending on what was cheaper at the time. The harddrive is quite tiny, for only $60 you can usually find at least a 160GB SataII drive.
