The DVD is a $200us Plextor burner, I am a little bit nervous about drilling and tapping into it, but it needs to get done.

I plan to make a Blue acrylic cover for both DVD drives (aka big hole above the plextor, still need to purchase a DVD drive). Which will be attached with stainless hex-head bolts(every bolt in the case is hex-head).
    Lighting
There are a few 3mm RED on/off switchable LED's not seen in the pictures, and a 4" cold cathode set-up inside that frosted acrylic tube.

That thing was a water cooling reservoir, sanded with 2000git paper to make the "frosted look". It should de-fuse the blue 4" UV lighting inside. I have re-wired every inch of that machine,I only hope it will all work when I fire it up..

That's a great job. Not at all a knock-off, just using the Orac as inspiration. I hope you continue to work on it.

Looks great! I agree with the others, it's not a knock-off, it's a nice mod all in its own right. We all take inspiration from other mods, the trick is to take it somewhere new. You certainly seem to have done that. :thumb:

Where did you get that coating wire that covers up the power cables?

It's Blue UV sleeve and heatshrink. I got it from frozenCPU. They have a great store, lots of cool stuff. I also purchased blue sparkplug wire separators to help keep things in order, I only have one or two inside now. I have not had time to install them.

I'll be the 1st to admit I'm not normally a fan of clear cases, but this one is just :jawdrop: :jawdrop:

Thanks. I just ordered some parts tonight. I will be working on the DVD drive front plates in the near future and I will post some pictures when I finish with them. I would like to thank all you guys who posted for your positive comments.

this project completely stands-out all on its own. Way to go on taking someone elses ideas and changing them so they dont even look close to what you took them from :thumb:
