I've been using LCD Smartie for a while and while it has advance features it is very buggy. Yesyerday I downloaded the newest version 5.1 which caused more problems that if fixed.
If you want parallel Blue, try a parallel VFD with a blue filter. I'm sure you should be able to get them in Aus. I had a Noritake Itron 'LCD Replacement' Parallel VFD module from Farnell: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4944

Anybody ever tryed to link up TWO paralel lcd's at the SAME time and at the SAME PC (and so of course the same port) ? Might be a bit tricky and need some software on your own and probably some PIC's, but might be worth it ...
Well in theory both LCD's will work and of couse display the same thing But i think it's possiblee (havent tried but it's an idea to try on Samtech
You can hook up more than one parallel LCD to the same parallel port. I think it requires some hardware tricks. I saw a web page about doing this, but I can't find the link now. Try a google search. And no, they don't display the same thing. You can configure them to behave like one large screen. i.e. (2) 2x40 screens behave like (1) 4x40. I think. Mike
