Ok i recieved this piece of kit at 1:00 yesterday afternoon and was very glad to see the courier to say the least, i opened the box and saw the games first with a big smile . I then opened the Value pack box and saw the console it looked heavenly, i charged it up and was ready to go. I put wipeout in and of course i watched the startup video, now i had seen this on the wipeout pure offcial website and thought it was great but seeing it on the PSP screen was just awesome!! the game itself is a treat to the eyes with its great tracks and weather conditions. I then later put lumines in and was amazed from the word go, it's music and mesmerising skins and effects left me gazing in awe, never before have i seen such visual perfection on a handheld or console for that matter, simple yet effective. It doesn't push the psp to its limits but will keep you coming back for more. I then set out to put some content on my psp, afterall sony did say it was a 'multimedia' device, first i connected it to my rig with a USB - USB mini cable similiar to many digital camera cables, the computer recognised it as a removeable storage device and i opned it in my computer. There was a folder there named 'PSP' i created a folder within that named Music and then dragged my music files (bloc party - silent alarm tracks) into the folder, I also created a folder called 'Photo'. I inserted my chosen photos into that folder some of which included the black mesa project before you do all this you must first start up your psp and find the icon that says USB connection and simply press the 'X' button on your psp to enable USB mode. After i had placed my desired music and photos onto the PSP i then disconnected it and they were all there, its as simple as that. Anyway the PSP is awesome and im gettin lots of looks already while im using it, the GFX on wipout pure are on par if not better than Wipout Fusion for the Playstation 2, combining style and looks with fast paced gameplay making this a must have killerap for the PSP. The PSP screen is also a masterpiece and has to be seen to be believed, its clear and crisp and although i had 2 dead pixels in the top corner do not let this dicourage you as the are barely visible and do not affect gameplay or the whole experience whatsoever. Well thats it for my review and also my how to do guide on placing audio and images onto your psp for those of you who CBA to google . Thanks i hope this helps some people who already have a PSP and also people that cannot make there minds up about whether or not to buy one. Ice
Browse the internet with the PSP game Wipeout Pure (Which you have). Oh yes, and please, use line breaks, or in less confusing language, press the space bar twice after each paragraph. If you still have a problem, learn about paragraph structure. It's basic english, really.
I can say at least 2 guys at school have it so no need to rely on reviews I have seen it in the skin and I can't really wait to get one but why are they sooo expensive
It's true. Throw $50/$100 towards a 512MB/1GB card, and now you have a handheld gadget that displays pictures, plays music, plays movies, and plays games, and looking damn sexy the whole time. And soon we'll have an official browser for it, so we can surf the web without going through WipeOut Pure! PSP Video 9 - A program to convert media files to MP4 format, in a variety of compression settings. It's the only thing I use, it even converts VOB files outputted by DVD Decrypter... Edit: There's a "stuck pixel fixer" out now. It won't fix dead pixels, but many people have claimed it work's with "stuck" pixels (I guess ones that are white/red/blue/green, but not black). It's a seizure-inducing video where it just flashes all these colors. You're supposed to play it on repeat, plugged into the AC adapter, with brightness 4 (The brightest) and leave it on for a few hours. Stuck Pixel Fixer On page 8 of that thread, there's a link to pixel fixer 2.0.
Paragraphs please Ian, god just use some paragraphs (or line breaks) I will attempt to read it again now.
