My technic pump sooo much for 5inch they got this high response crosover and a golf dimple and the beat my mums B&W by far and shes got a sub as well they wert cheap though $200 run them of a an old but kick ass technics digital reciver and a technics 5 disk rotater BEAST
You mean your Technics are all treble and bass with no midrange, giving them a bassier and brighter sound that kiddies love, especially at high volumes. You'll probably find the B&Ws are properly balanced, and work with all types of music, the bass will be low and tight making it sound much more subtle than your brash Technics.
